220512-N-AS200-5400 POINT MUGU, Calif. (May 12, 2022) – The Navy tours of a $53 million Coast Guard Air Station project onboard Point Mugu, May 12. The permanent new air station will include a 43,045-square-foot hangar facility with four bays, shops, and storage for MH65T and MH60J helicopters, as well as a 12,183-square-foot administration building and open in May 2023. NBVC is a strategically located Naval installation composed of three operating facilities: Point Mugu, Port Hueneme and San Nicolas Island.
