CAPT Douglas M. Peterson and CDR Greg Woods participated in a ribbon cutting ceremony on Friday, April 25, 2022, officially opening NAS Lemoore's first POV Electric Vehicle Charging Station.
In partnership with the NEX, this station marks the first investment in EV charging infrastructure available to everyone onboard NAS Lemoore.
With national EVs sales nearly doubling from 2020 to 2021, NAS Lemoore recognizes the opportunity to enlarge its EV charging infrastructure, which was previously limited to government fleet vehicles only.
NAS Lemoore is committed to meeting its energy goals, while making it easier and more convenient for EV owners to charge up.
