U.S. Marines with Lima Company, Third Battalion, Third Marine Regiment (3/3), lock arms together to prevent them from getting swept away by the current as the Marines walk across a river at Lower Training Center, Mountain Warfare Training Center, Bridgeport, California on Oct 6, 2012. The river crossing exercise was a part of Mountain Ex. 12.7, a twelve day exercise meant to prepare the marines of 3/3 both physically and mentally for high elevation environments.
