    U.S. Marines with Mountain Leader Section, lower a Marine with Third Battalion, Third Marine Regiment (3/3) using rope and a sked, the Marine was a simulated casualty during a cliff assault exercise at Lower Training Area, Mountain Warfare Training Center, Bridgeport, California on Oct. 6, 2012. The cliff assault course was a part of Mountain Ex. 12.7, a twelve day exercise meant to prepare the marines of 3/3 both physically and mentally for high elevation environments.
