Leidos, headquartered in Reston, Virginia, with approximately 800 employees in Illinois, was awarded the Above and Beyond Award during the annual Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) awards banquet in Bloomington, Illinois, May 13. Leidos was nominated for the award by Capt Michael Ferrer. The Above and Beyond award is given in limited numbers and presented annually by ESGR members. It is designed to recognize those employers who have gone above and beyond the legal requirements of the Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act in granting leave to their Guard and Reserve employees for military duty.
