Petty Officer 3rd Class Joshua Harriman stationed with Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 1 utilizes a tape measure to ensure accurate measurements for an office space construction project in the vicinity of Al Taqaddum, Iraq, Dec. 28, 2007. NMCB 1 Seabees are currently conducting operations to complete the construction and improve security of a combat outpost in support of the Iraqi army. NMCB 1 is part of nearly 1,200 Sailors and Marines supporting critical construction efforts in the Al Anbar province of Iraq and is also currently deployed to several locations in the Middle East and Afghanistan, providing responsive military construction support to U.S. military and coalition operations.
