ATLANTIC OCEAN (May 9, 2022) Aviation Electrician 2nd class Johnathan Froehlich, assigned to Air Detachment 2, the “Hell Hounds”, from Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron 22, the “Sea Knights”, aboard Freedom-variant littoral combat ship USS Sioux City (LCS 11), performs routine maintenance on the rotor of the MH-60S Seahawk helicopter, May 9. Sioux City is operating in the Atlantic Ocean in support of naval operations to maintain maritime stability and security in order to ensure access, deter aggression and defend U.S. Allied and partner interests.
