Retired Sgt. 1st Class Ryan Mcgrath, a fellow Soldier that deployed with Sgt. Alexander Gagalac, shares stories of Gagalac during the 3rd Infantry Brigade Combat Team Sgt. Gagalac Memorial Hall dedication ceremony, May 13, 2022. Gagalac was assigned to 3IBCT when he was killed in action during Operation Iraqi Freedom when a rocket propelled grenade hit his Humvee in Hawijah, Iraq, Sept. 9, 2007.
