Lt. Col. Amanda Davis, incoming commander of the 39th Healthcare Squadron (HCOS), renders her first salute as commander during a change of command ceremony at Incirlik Air Base, Turkey, June 1, 2022. During the ceremony, Lt. Col. Damian Pardue, outgoing commander of the 39th Healthcare Squadron, relinquished command to Col. Bradley Weast, 39th Medical Group commander, who then charged Davis with leading the 39th HCOS. The change of command ceremony is a long-standing military tradition that represents the formal transfer of command from one officer to another.
