Col. Bradley Weast (left), 39th Medical Group commander, takes the guidon from Lt. Col. During the ceremony, Pardue relinquished command to Weast, who then charged Lt. Col. Amanda Davis with leading the 39th HCOS. The change of command ceremony is a long-standing military tradition that represents the formal transfer of command from one officer to another.
