The 155th Air Refueling Wing base awarded Mrs. Siew Kour, base federal environmental manager, the General Thomas D. White Environmental Quality award on June 3, 2022, at the Lincoln air base, Nebraska.
Within a single calendar year, Siew completely revamped the entire base environmental program. Decades of deficiencies, inspection irregularities, and federal regulatory compliance issues and violations were immediately reversed.
Mrs. Kour completely overhauled six major installation plans which include; Air Quality Management Plan, Integrated Solid Waste Management Plan, Integrated Pest Management Plan, Integrated Cultural Resource Management Plan, Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan, and Hazardous Waste Management Plan.
