U.S. Army Soldiers assigned to 1st Battalion, 8th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division render a salute, June 6, 2022, during the 78th Commemoration Ceremonie de Utah Beach, at Utah Beach, Normandie, France. The 4th Infantry Division played a large role in World War II, as it was chosen to spearhead operations on D-Day, the day Allied forces invaded the beaches of Normandy.
