Senior Airman Ethan So loads cargo onto a pallet during Valiant Shield 2022, June 8, 2022 at Andersen Air Force Base, Guam. So is a Reserve Citizen Airmen from the 44th Aerial Port Squadron. During the duration of Valiant Shield the 44 APS is training to do additional jobs outside of their core Air Force Specialty Code, also known as the Multi-Capable Airmen concept. VS 22 is a biennial, U.S. only, joint field training exercise focused on integrations between U.S. Forces through detecting, locating, tracking, and engaging adversary units at sea, in the air in space, on land, and in cyberspace in response to a range of mission areas.
