Members of the Philippine National Police - Maritime Group, 2nd Special Operations Unit and Philippine Coast Guard Special Operations Force conduct a visit, board, search and seizure demonstration on June 10, 2022, near Puerto Princesa, Palawan. This engagement provided an opportunity for the 1st Special Forces Group (Airborne) Green Berets to exchange tactics, techniques and procedures with their Philippine partners in an effort to enhance interoperability while sharing new ideas for maritime operations. U.S. Special Operations Forces continue to prepare for tomorrow’s challenges and seize the initiative now…together. The U.S. focus on integrated deterrence requires geographically distributed, operationally resilient, defense-in-depth, and sustainable force postures that are coordinated globally and effectively employed every day.
