Frank Quiles, chief of facility planning and development for the VA Palo Alto Health Care System, explains the layout of the future VA Stockton Community Based Outpatient Clinic to leaders from the VA Northern California Health Care System, June 8, 2022, at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Sacramento District project office in Stockton, California. Because of an internal VA realignment, responsibility for the completed clinic has shifted from VA Palo Alto to VA Northern California, headquartered in Sacramento. The USACE Sacramento District has been constructing the clinic for more than two years, with plans to build additional facilities including a Community Living Center and Engineering Logistics Building.
