YOKOSUKA, Japan (July 8, 2022) – Rear Admiral Carl Lahti arrives a change of command ceremony for U.S. Fleet Activities Yokosuka. Rear Adm Lahti is a guest speaker at the event, which was attended by area Sailors and host-nation guests. For more than 75 years, CFAY has provided, maintained, and operated base facilities and services in support of the U.S. 7th Fleet’s forward-deployed naval forces, tenant commands, and thousands of military and civilian personnel and their families.
