CAMP LEMONNIER, Djibouti (July 19, 2022) Dr. Ahmed Robleh Abdilleh, Ministère de la Santé de Djibouti shakes hands with the Honorable Mr. Jonathan Pratt, U.S. Ambassador to Djibouti during the opening of the expansion of Djibouti’s Ministry of Health’s PK12 Field Hospital in Balbala, Djibouti, July 20, 2022, as Maj. Working shoulder-to-shoulder with Djibouti’s Ministry of Health, U.S. Embassy development specialists, and Civil Affairs, the service members of CJTF-HOA’s 319th Engineer Support Company successfully added a 5-bed intensive care unit, and a 30-bed isolation facility with bathrooms, which doubles the capacity of the PK12 Field Hospital. This work enables medical professionals from Civil Affairs to conduct critical training with their counterparts from the Ministry of Health.
