220805-N-EV253-1150 SAN DIEGO (Aug. 5, 2022) – "Landslide 04," an MH-60S Sea Hawk helicopter, and display aircraft of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 3, is redesignated by US Naval Aircrewman 1st Class Cale Foy during the squadron's change of command ceremony held aboard Naval Air Station (NAS) North Island in Coronado, California, Aug. 5. During the ceremony, Cmdr. Loren Jacobi was relieved by Capt. David Ayotte, who became the 46th commanding officer to lead the "Merlins" of HSC-3. HSC-3 is the Navy’s west coast MH-60S fleet replacement squadron, responsible for training pilots and aircrewmen by providing the most capable warfighters to the fleet.
