Firefighters assigned to the 6th Civil Engineer Squadron prepare for an aircraft rescue and firefighting evolution at MacDill Air Force Base, Florida, Aug. 5, 2022. Each KC-135 Stratotanker aircraft assigned to the 6th Air Refueling Wing can be loaded with over 30,000 gallons of jet fuel, presenting a fire risk in the instance of an aircraft mishap.
