A ranger from the 5th Ranger Training Battalion gets inspected by a jumpmaster. A jumpmaster is an expert paratrooper who inspect each jumping prior to them jumping out an aircraft called a jumpmaster personal inspection (JMPI). The JMPI is a series of checks that jumpmaster must do to each jumper by checking the parachute pack on the jumpers back, reserve parachute worn on the front, and static line.
