    22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit

    U.S. Navy Hospital Corpsman 1st Class Claire Stampley assigned to Shock Trauma Platoon, 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), portrays a simulated patient during joint medical training with Finnish Navy combat medics from Logistics Company, Medical Platoon in Upinniemi, Finland, Aug. 15, 2022. The training was held to increase proficiency and strengthen mission readiness between U.S. Navy Corpsmen and Finnish Navy medics. The Kearsarge Amphibious Ready Group and 22nd MEU, under the command and control of Task Force 61/2, is on a scheduled deployment in the U.S. Naval Forces Europe area of operations, employed by U.S. Sixth Fleet to defend U.S., allied and partner interests.
