U.S. Marine Corps Col. Dennis Sampson, commanding officer of the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit, receives a Rehearsal of Concept on Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, Aug. 16, 2022. A ROC is a method used to establish clear objectives and communication between personnel when conducting operations with numerous elements involved to ensure unity of effort. During this ROC, the 26th MEU Command Element and Combat Logistics 22 leadership discussed the plan for the 26th MEU’s upcoming field exercise. This exercise is running concurrently to CLB 22’s Marine Corps Combat Readiness Evaluation. This FEX is the culminating exercise for the 26th MEU prior to the MAGTF’s composite.
