U.S. Marine Corps Lt. Col. Josef H. Wiese, executive officer, 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit, briefs at a Rehearsal of Concept on Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, Aug. 16, 2022. A ROC is a method used to establish clear objectives and communication between personnel when conducting operations with numerous elements involved to ensure mutual understanding and unity of effort across all warfighting domains. During this ROC, the 26th MEU Command Element and Combat Logistics Battalion-22 leadership discussed the plan for the 26th MEU’s upcoming field exercise. This exercise is running concurrently to CLB 22’s Marine Corps Combat Readiness Evaluation. This FEX is the culminating exercise for the 26th MEU prior to the MAGTF’s composite and will provide the Marines and sailors to train lethality, interoperability, and readiness with major subordinate elements in preparation for the MAGTF’s composite.
