    2nd Lt. Nicholas Marsh of Boise, Idaho receives his Officer Candidate School graduation certificate. Twenty-two Illinois Army National Guard Soldiers and one U.S. Army Reserve Soldier graduated from the 129th Regiment (Regional Training Institute) Officer Candidate School on Aug. 21, fulfilling the leadership and military education requirements to be commissioned as U.S. Army officers. The ceremony was held at the Crowne Plaza hotel in Springfield, Illinois. Marsh, who commissioned as an infantry officer, will be assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 1st Battalion, 178th Infantry Regiment, based in Chicago.
