220727-N-OX321-1005 NAVAL AIR STATION SIGONELLA, Italy (July 27, 2022) – Senior Chief Master-at-Arms Peter Limson, from New York City and the designated executive agent for the Naval Security Force insignia qualification program at Naval Air Station Sigonella, passes out the Naval Security Force Master Specialist and NSF Senior Specialist exams to NAS Sigonella’s initial qualifiers, July 27, 2022. The new NSF insignia qualification program establishes performance standards that can be used to assist in the assignment; promotion and officer selection processes, and provides a visual recognition of the Sailor’s professional expertise with a pin designating the qualification level as a NSF specialist, senior specialist, master specialist or officer. NAS Sigonella’s strategic location enables U.S., allied, and partner nation forces to deploy and respond as required, ensuring security and stability in Europe, Africa and Central Command.
