The Lathrop Highschool Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (JROTC) Honor Guard perform a prisoner of war and missing-in-action presentation during a POW/MIA recognition ceremony at the Veterans Stand Down at the Pioneer Park Civic Center in Fairbanks, Alaska. The VA Stand Down allows Veterans to receive medical care, information on local community services, food, and winter gear. The event brings the Veterans and the Community together to give back to Veterans while enjoying music, raffles, meals, camaraderie, and services.
