A UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter is ready for takeoff from the Deadhorse, Alaska, airport. The “Flying Dragons” of the 1-52nd General Support Aviation Battalion deployed the two Black Hawks and two CH-47 Chinook helicopters with about 25 support personnel to the North Slope where they practiced sling-load and long-range flight operations around Prudhoe Bay during a week-long training session in Alaska’s Arctic.
