HONIARA, Solomon Islands (Sept. 5, 2022) – Hotoravu Alenge, chief of operations for Solomon Islands' National Emergency Operation Centre and National Disaster Management Office, speaks about Solomon Island’s humanitarian assistance and disaster (HADR) relief capabilities during Pacific Partnership 2022. HADR training allows partnering nations to strengthen capabilities and interoperability with one another in order to respond in times of need. Now in its 17th year, Pacific Partnership is the largest annual multinational humanitarian assistance and disaster relief preparedness mission conducted in the Indo-Pacific. Pacific Partnership is a unifying mission that fosters enduring friendships and cooperation among many nations.
