Capt. Eric Hanks, commanding officer of Naval Air Station Whidbey Island, passes the flag during the "12th-Man Flag" change of command ceremony at Naval base Kitsap-Bangor in Silverdale, Washington, Sept. 7, 2022. The ceremony included a handoff of the 12th-Man Flag from NAS Whidbey Island to Marine Corps Security Force Battalion Bangor.
