PACIFIC OCEAN (Aug. 31, 2022) - U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. Zachary Dugger, a scout sniper assigned to Battalion Landing Team 2/4, 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit, sets up a shooting harness inside a UH-1Y helicopter on the flight deck aboard amphibious transport dock USS Anchorage (LPD 23) as part of a maritime interdiction operation training exercise, Aug. 31. A force in readiness, the 13th MEU trains to rapidly respond to crises in all domain environments through naval power projection. The Makin Island Amphibious Ready Group, comprised of amphibious assault ship USS Makin Island (LHD 8) and amphibious transport docks USS Anchorage (LPD 23) and USS John P.
