SAN CLEMENTE ISLAND (Sept. 4, 2022) – U.S. Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Luciano Logueiera, left, and Lance Cpl. Jarott Hawes, both surveillance sensor operators with Ground Sensory Platoon, 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit, conduct pre-flight inspections on a RQ-20B Puma before a flight at a Sensing Expeditionary Advanced Base (EAB), Sept. 4. A Sensing EAB provides amplified information in support of surveillance, reconnaissance, and fires technologies, in order to expand maritime domain awareness and extend the reach of amphibious capabilities. The Makin Island Amphibious Ready Group, comprised of amphibious assault ship USS Makin Island (LHD 8) and amphibious transport docks USS Anchorage (LPD 23) and USS John P.
