SAN CLEMENTE ISLAND (Sept. 4, 2022) – U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. Francisco Hernandez, a surveillance sensor operator with Ground Sensory Platoon, 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit, creates the flight mission plan for an RQ-20B Puma at a Sensing Expeditionary Advanced Base (EAB), Sept. 4. A Sensing EAB provides amplified information in support of surveillance, reconnaissance, and fires technologies, in order to expand maritime domain awareness and extend the reach of amphibious capabilities. The Makin Island Amphibious Ready Group, comprised of amphibious assault ship USS Makin Island (LHD 8) and amphibious transport docks USS Anchorage (LPD 23) and USS John P.
