Wisconsin Army National Guard Soldiers assigned to Company A, 2-127 Infantry Regiment test their skills during a Combat Water Survival and Swift Water Rescue training event September 10, on the Fox River in Oshkosh, Wis. The event familiarized Soldiers with operating combat rubber raiding rafts and tactical swimming techniques. Brig. Gen. Matthew J. Strub, Wisconsin’s deputy adjutant general for Army, stated that this event, made possible through the support of community partners, is about overcoming adversity and forming a stronger bond as a unit.
