Wisconsin Army National Guard Soldiers from Company A, 2-127 Infantry Regiment race to turn over their combat rubber raiding crafts on the Fox River during the race portion of Combat Water Survival and Swift Water Rescue Training in Oshkosh, Wis. September 10. Once they flipped their team’s raft upside down, the Soldiers worked together to turn it back over as quickly as possible before racing back to the starting point. Brig. Gen. Matthew J. Strub, Wisconsin’s deputy adjutant general for Army, stated that this training event, made possible through the support of community partners, is about overcoming adversity and forming a stronger bond as a unit.
