U.S. Air Force Capt. Hunter Weaver, 964th Airborne Air Control Squadron Boeing E-3 Sentry navigator, prepares navigation equipment before departing Joint Base San Antonio-Kelly Field Annex, Texas, Aug. 29, 2022. The aircraft and crew used Kelly Field to fly to and from the Roar by the Shore air show in South Padre Island, Texas. In support of air-to-ground operations, the Sentry can provide direct information needed for reconnaissance and close-air support for friendly ground forces.
