Insect species enjoy the abundant flora that Berlin Lake provides in Berlin Center, Ohio. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Pittsburgh District operates the reservoir to provide flood protection for the Mahoning River Valley and the Beaver and Upper Ohio rivers. Additionally, the recreation areas offer residents and visitors the opportunity to camp, boat, picnic and enjoy a round of disc golf.
