Rangers at Berlin Lake, in Berlin Center, Ohio, built birdhouses for the large amounts of songbirds that call the lake home. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Pittsburgh District operates the reservoir to provide flood protection for the Mahoning River Valley and the Beaver and Upper Ohio rivers. Additionally, the recreation areas offer residents and visitors the opportunity to camp, boat, picnic and enjoy a round of disc golf.
