When fire destroyed the home of a fellow Soldier, Sgt. Thomas H. Pham could not stand by and do nothing - so he took action. A plans NCO with HHC, 48th BCT he quickly organized a donation box fundraiser.

The three-day effort brought $707 in donations.
"(Cash) is hard to come by with no ATM available," Pham stated. "Many of our Soldiers are donating clothes through family at home. But it's a morale boost to see that Soldiers are pulling together with Georgia Family Readiness."
