Officer Ben Cruz, Guam Police Department Special Weapons and Tactics K-9 operator, holds Halo, GPD SWAT explosive-detection K-9, close during a Military Working Dog Immersion Course at Northwest Field, Guam, Sept. 22, 2022. The course was hosted by the 736th Security Forces Squadron to promote interoperability with local agencies. Cruz is the newest member to the GPD SWAT K-9 team and this course allowed him to build upon his skills with Air Force level training from the MWD instructors and subject matter experts with the 736th SFS.
