V Corps Deputy Commanding General for Interoperability Polish Land Forces Maj. Gen. Adam Joks shares a moment with the corps's Chief of Staff Col. J. Frederick Dente before the start of the Victory Honors Ceremony to welcome the unit's newest deputy commanding general for maneuver (DCG-M), Camp Kosciuszko, Poznan, Poland, Sept. 30, 2022. Incoming DCG-M Maj. Gen. David B. Womack becomes the first deputy commanding general to join V Corps—the American command and control army element in the European Theater—in Poland since the base renaming to Camp Kosciuszko. V Corps works alongside NATO allies and regional security partners to provide combat-ready forces, executes joint and multinational training exercises, while building local community relationships.
