U.S. Marines with 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit deploy sensor equipment during KAMANDAG 6 at Claveria, Philippines, Oct. 2, 2022. Marines established a sensor expeditionary advance base to share critical information about naval vessels with U.S. and partner forces operating in the area. KAMANDAG is an annual, bilateral exercise between the Armed Forces of the Philippines and U.S. military designed to strengthen interoperability, capabilities, trust and cooperation built over decades of shared experiences.
