A Malmstrom Child Development Center worker and children smile while playing dress-up Sept. 8, 2022, at Malmstrom Air Force Base, Mont. According to the CDC website, the pre-toddler program cares for children ages 12 months to 24 months. The staff is carefully selected to give the child the care, stimuli, security and consistency each individual child needs. The CDC provides care to children of active-duty military and DoD/NAF civilian personnel families. With limited amounts of childcare available in the state of Montana, the CDC is an essential service at Malmstrom AFB. (U.S. Air Force photo by Airman 1st Class Mary Bowers)
