Children from the Malmstrom Child Development Center play with toys Sept. 8, 2022, at Malmstrom Air Force Base, Mont. According to the CDC website, the toddler program is for children ages two years to three years. The staff is trained to guide children through the various stages of development when they are physically, emotionally, and socially ready. The CDC provides care to children of active-duty military and DoD/NAF civilian personnel families. With limited amounts of childcare available in the state of Montana, the CDC is an essential service at Malmstrom AFB. (U.S. Air Force photo by Airman 1st Class Mary Bowers)
