Phước Hòa, Vietnam (Aug. 10, 2022) Seabees with Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 4 and Marines with 7th Engineer Support Battalion (ESB) level a course of Concrete Masonry Units (CMU) block for the Phước Hòa primary school in Vietnam. NMCB 4 has teamed up with the Marines 7th Engineer Support Battalion (7th ESB) in the Pacific Partnership Program to provide the Phú Yên province of Vietnam a brand new two room schoolhouse that will seat 68 children of the small town Phước Hòa and strengthen our relationship with the country of Vietnam. NMCB-4 is forward deployed throughout the Indo-Pacific region and United States territories to support and maintain a free and open Indo-Pacific. As the stand-in, crisis response, naval engineering force, NMCB-4 maintains a ready posture to deliver in-theater expeditionary logistics via expeditionary shore infrastructure, forward damage repair, and mobile construction.
