A U.S. Air Force Explosive Ordnance Disposal specialist, assigned to the 378th Expeditionary Civil Engineer Squadron, sets a small inert explosive charge next to an unexploded chemical munition during a partner nation Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear response exercise at Prince Sultan Air Base, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Sept. 29, 2022. The exercise was purely simulation, no chemical, explosive or fire hazards were present during the training. The 378th ECES’s Emergency Management flight, also known by many as CBRN, is responsible for working with RSAF to build and establish response and recovery actions for a wide variety of scenarios.
