A U.S. Air Force Explosive Ordnance Disposal specialist, assigned to the 378th Expeditionary Civil Engineer Squadron, radios in the all-clear for the Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear team to approach the inert chemical munition during a partner nation CBRN response exercise at Prince Sultan Air Base, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Sept. 29, 2022. The exercise was purely simulation, no chemical, explosive or fire hazards were present during the training. The 378th ECES’s Emergency Management flight, also known by many as CBRN, is responsible for working with RSAF to build and establish response and recovery actions for a wide variety of scenarios.
