With his St. Augustine’s University teammates cheering him on, Cadet Christopher Lancaster pushes through the final seconds of the Functional Fitness event at 4th Brigade’s Army ROTC Ranger Challenge on October 15 at Fort A.P. Hill. In this timed relay race, each team member had completed a series of three strenuous exercises. For the last exercise, Cadets did many 35-pound shoulder box step ups as they could in one minute. The second day of competition saw teams competing in ten different events, before ending their day with a 6-mile ruck. The top two teams go on to represent 4th Brigade in the Sandhurst Military Skills Competition held at West Point Military Academy in April 2023. | Photo by Sarah Windmueller, U.S. Army Cadet Command Public Affairs
