GREAT LAKES, Ill. (Oct. 21, 2022) Chief Hull Maintenance Technician Robert Vanroy receives his combination cover during a chief pinning ceremony at Midway Ceremonial Drill Hall onboard Recruit Training Command (RTC) Great Lakes. A total of 43 Sailors from RTC were promoted to the rank of chief petty officer during the ceremony. More than 40,000 recruits train annually at the Navy's only boot camp.
