WASHINGTON (October 21, 2022) – Chief Yeoman Julio Castro, attached to Naval District Washington, passes through side boys after being pinned to the rank of chief petty officer during a pinning ceremony aboard the U.S. Navy Memorial. Twenty four Sailors from the National Capital Region were promoted to the rank of chief petty officer during the ceremony.
