The F/A-18 Hornet is a highly versatile all-weather, carrier-capable, multirole fighter attack aircraft providing lethal and survivable strike capability to Marine Air Ground Task Force and combatant commanders. MAG 11 generates, embarks, and integrates relevant, combat ready aviation forces capable of providing Offensive Air Support, Anti-Aircraft Warfare, Assault Support, Aerial Reconnaissance, and terminal area Control of Aircraft, all in order to ensure success in combat in support of the Marine Air-Ground Task Force and Combatant Commanders.
